In an unprecedented move, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has activated the National Guard to assist in responding to a severe cyberattack that has crippled the City of Saint Paul. The attack, which began on a Friday, has disrupted numerous city services, prompting a state of emergency declaration.
The cyberattack has primarily affected St. Paul’s digital services, causing significant disruptions. Online payment systems are down, and some services in libraries and recreation centers are temporarily unavailable.
