Why Cyberix

Compliance that holds up on an ordinary Tuesday

We hold ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 Type II and have implemented the CMMC Level 2 requirements ourselves, with alignment to NIST SP 800-53 and 800-171.

Know your real score

A control-by-control assessment against the objectives in NIST SP 800-171A produces a number you can defend, not one built from policies on paper.

Evidence assessors accept

System security plans, procedures and records that match how your environment actually runs, organized by requirement.

Controls that keep running

Monitoring, vulnerability management and incident response operate every day, which is what the requirements actually ask for.

How It Works

From scoping to a sustainable program

The same sequence applies whether you are preparing a first SPRS submission or tightening a program you already run.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is CMMC Level 2 certification required right now?

Third-party certification as a condition of award was suspended by DoD on July 13, 2026. Self-assessment requirements and the NIST SP 800-171 obligations under DFARS 252.204-7012 still apply. Check your contract for the clauses that affect you.

Why prepare now if the deadline was suspended?

The requirements did not change, only the date on which a third-party assessment would be required. Contractors that finish the work now avoid a compressed schedule if the program resumes, and they protect the accuracy of the SPRS score they have already posted.

What do you need from us to start?

A list of the systems and locations that handle CUI, existing policies and procedures, network diagrams and your current system security plan, if you have one. We help you build whatever is missing.

Do you perform the certification assessment itself?

A certification assessment is performed by a Certified Third-Party Assessor Organization (C3PAO). Our work is readiness: scoping, gap assessment, documentation, remediation support and ongoing monitoring that prepares you for any assessment.

Where are you based?

Cyberix is headquartered in Aurora, Colorado, with an office in Washington, D.C., and delivers these services remotely or on site.
